Maybe a dumb question

Im getting ready to bag the front of my 87 b2000 and was getting ready to cut out the bump stops and clean up the frame. i was just wandering what thickness of metal needs to be used to reinforce the upper and lower control arm mount. and also do i need to put a piece on the frame itself. any info would be great thanks

as far as i know use 3/16

well i kinda assumed but wanted to make sure. and i also wanted to make sure on the size of meterial to use. thanks
