I am looking to put my valves in but i cant figure out where to put them any one have any pointers or ideas...the idea i had was to run them right off the tank itself

Hope this heps but--

The closer they are to the bag, the quicker the bag inflates and deflates. BUT when they are close to the bag, thier gets left over air in the lines, which cause a rougher ride(dont ask me y, thats what i was told) I'm putting mine off the tank, i think it looks cooler if ya ask me.

i ran my dumps t'd off of the bag and mounted my fill valves on the tank. i liked it that way because it gave me a little better ride having the air in the lines compressing too(more volume) and still dropped quickly

Closer to the bag does allow for quicker inflates and deflates. I have had vehicles with the valves on the tank and the valves near the bags and noticed no difference in the ride qualities. I prefer valves mounted at the tank for ease of service. Anyone who has had a valve go bad knows it is sometimes impossible to get to it if it is mounted near the bag. Either way, make sure you use DOT approved air line and fittings. I like the nickle plated all brass units. They don't leak and seldom fail.

i got my valves mounted on the tank and my tank is mounted under my bed. like rick said, its easier to work on them all together instead of some under the bed, some under the truck. plus easier to wire all them at one single location. heres a pic of mine.....

be sure to make your 2 front airlines the same length and your rear 2 airlines the same length. otherwise your truck will air up crooked.
