another pinion angle question

i Just put a 3 link set up on my 87 b2000 and what i was wandering is how much should the pinion angle change from full lift to layed out. Is there like a maximum amount thats totaly not good or what. any info would be great

Generally 2-3 degrees is no big deal. 10 degrees would make me start over.
