I have 3" blocks but it doesn't sit low like I want it to....
I was thinkin of pulling the 2 middle leaves out but I've been hearing that afterwords you have to notch the frame.
I have no idea what that means and how to do it.

SOMEONE HELP!!!

you dont necessarily have to notch the frame. it does help for axle clearance though. a notch is a step welded into the frame that adds clearance area to the rame for the axle to clear. otherwise you end up bouncing the axle off the frame and making all sorts of noise. check with Dev at . he can help with getting you what you need!

You have a couple options buddy...

Since you are rollin' on a static you shouldn't need the HUGE 8" notch, you could probably get away with the bolt in c-notch....Which is easy to do...

Hope this helps your decision...

Here is a pic of a bolt in c notch. How this helps.

Yea both of these helped alot. I dont know how to weld though. So if I take the leaves out I have to do the notch in ordr for it to bot clank on the axle? what if I just take 1 leaf out. The 2nd from the bottom, would I still have to do the notch?

It depends.... how far is yout ftame from your axle right now?? Pullin one leaf will probably grop it a good 2,5 to 3 inches

That pic above has no welding. You basically mark your frame (I believe that most kits come with a template) where the little notch would need to be cut out as well as where to drill the holes for the bolt in kit.

add some air shocks to keep you off the frame

U can go to a shop and get ur leafs Dearched. Up to 5inchs of drop. They also remove ur overload springs. U wont be hauling massive loads but if ur a mini trucker u shouldnt be. haha. I dont bottom out on the frame at all.
My buddy did this and used 2 inch blocks in the back aswell. ( worst ride quality iv ever felt.) He bottomed out on anything and everything. If ur looking for more than 5 inchs of drop c notch it id say. ( also see about getting ur springs dearched im always concerned about removing leafs.)

what i did in my daily was, put in a 3" block and one leaf out, the leafs were already dearched, it rides pretty good, i can haul stuff in the back, i did a bunch of garbage dump runs with it, it bottoms out on big bumps or when i have alot of weight in the rear, i still havent put in my air shocks yet
