Upper and Lower Ball Joints

where to buy them? also which ones to get for 2" AIM dropped spindles.... vato-zone had to order them (for the mazda spindle but i want to install the 2" drops when i change the ball joints) and wanted like $64 for each top and $56 for each bottom (which sounds like a complete rip-off) or am i being cheap? oh and that was for their dura(never)last.....

for the drop spindles youll need an s-10 ball joint. that joint is pressed in to that mounting plate to fit on the lca. i dont remember how much i payed for my balljoints but i remember i was in pain after paying for them.

i work at autozone and 64 for the top sounds a lil steep... i know at my store the lowers are 36 a piece... and we have em in stock.. you can tell em to match a diff stores prices haha. You could do that... hold on, ima check the price on the uppers...

Ya the uppers are 23 a piece... thats for all mazda shit. I dont know bout s10 stuff. But if you do get em from autozone, tell em to match the prices of store 5. Thats the store I work at.. And who cares if they "never" last... they have a fuckin lifetime warranty

HEY GUYS THIS IS PROLLY OLD POST, BUT IM LOST ON FLIPPIN THE LOWER BALL JOINT, IM TRYING TO GET THE TRUCK TO LAY ON A 20 BUT IM HAVING PROBLEMS.....I LEARNED THAT WITH STOCK UPPER I LOSE 3/4 INCH OF DROP LOL

i ordered my uppers and lowers from ebay and actually got 4 uppers and 2 lowers... so i got hooked up... it was 37.99 for both uppers and lowers plus shipping. plus i got the 2 extra upper ball joints.

that would be where i would buy them from if i were you.

S-10 upper and lower balljoints are cheap. At Oreilly they use Moog numbers even for thier autodrive/masterpro balljoints. the uppers are K5208 and they are like 10 bucks and the lowers are K6145 and they are like 9 bucks. not sure about autozone


I do know that Moog makes the Autodrive brand at oreilly
