91 Mazda with the torsions in the front and notched with 3" blocks in back. I plan on bagging the rear but I want to just lower the front more. Been out the game for awhile so I am not sure on the path to head towards. After doing to searching I was curious if I should go with tweaking the torsions more? drop spindles? lowering arms? flipping the ball joints? Suggetions on ride and drivability would be appreciated as long with any links or price info on these parts would be sweeeeeet, thanks..

If I take the torsions out it will slam the front, yet it will sacrifice ride feel, correct??

If you take the torsions out, you won't have any suspension up front.... You can flip the ball joints and drop it like another inch... drop spindles will drop it 2 inches but make the wheels stick out farther(so I've heard). You can reindex the torsions... I don't know how to do it. You can check the tech write up section, there's a how to in there... hope that helps a lil

ku man, thanks for the input. I was curious if doing the ball joints would be worth it, have you done it or have any experience with it?? Yeah with drop spindles they say you have to move to sixteens because of the spindle and sometimes the wheels don't tuck. Do you know a spot that sells the drop spindles?? I was told through DJM that I can get 3" lowering arms with 4" blocks in a kit, I checked it out but didn't get the prices yet.

I read up on taking out the bump stops and cutting/shaving down the brackets that hold the stops to give it little more with the torsion bars. I followed up on the indexing and it is a good idea to do if you tweak those trosions for better ride feel.

Ya i've flipped my ball joints and re angled em so they wouldn't bind up in the suspension travel... You wouldnt have to reangle them though. And I don't know bout where to get spindles... I have toyota spindles so i dunno... And I don't know bout the bump stops either... I dont have those anymore either..

theres a guy v8mazda4ever on here selling drop spindles for 250 shipped also before i bagged mine i had 4 inch blocks monoleafed with a notch no front bumpstops and just let the torsion bars down when finally after months of dragging across everything they fell out on the highway and call me crazy but i rode better dont know why just did. i guess cause the brakets sat on each other and the tire was the suspension but i only had 195 50 15's but i never touched a balljoint never had a problem except with tire wear.

Ight , well I don't have the change right now to buy the spindles. So today when doing the fluid changes on the truck I decided to crank those torsions down more after removing the lower bump stops (also had to replace the clutch slave cylinder too). It dropped it to a more desired look and feel. As for indexing them that will come in the future because them damn torsion was just planted tough up in the splines... lol. When "shaving" the brackets, that is more like grinding them b*tches off then right??
