With the help of Fattirebicycles posts and pics I have been able to proceed in this task. I started on the front because I knew it would take the most time to complete. I started by removing the spring pockets on the frame and on the control arms and welded in a 1/4 plate on the control arms for my lower bag brkts. That was after I had pie cut the upper and lower c/a's(20 deg) to elminate b/j binding. I'm running 235/45/r17 on escalade wheels. I know thats nothing to brag about cause it seems everyone has them,change is coming(sound familiar). I made a vertical notch in fame to allow clearance for 2600 bags. I know its a bit overkill but it came with the kit I orderded. Yes its aim but I havnt had ne problems yet. I relocated my upper c/a brkts to 3" above the frame which is 1 1/2 above factory to correct my camber to 1 deg neg at full drop and 3" of ride height. I welded in my upper and lower bag brkts and supports for the bag brkts. With the frame on the ground the bag colapses almost perfect. Now I'm ready to complete the rear setup which is a triangulated 4 link. I have posted questions in the suspension topic so if this is nothing new to you all help is appreciated. Here is some pics.

Please tell me you are re-enforcing the frame were you cut out right?

I'm going to weld in 1/4 pipe to fill in the notch. Then weld gussets to the front and rear of the upper c/a brkt out to the frame. Does that sound sufficient?

Is there a specific angle to run the triangulated links on a four link. I think I read or saw 45 deg but not sure. What is the easiest way to visually see instant center with your four link setup inside the frame. How do you draw your truck to scale,putting measurements onto paper then transfer to the truck.

In the last pic you might wanna take a closer look at the bolt for the ball joint from the angle of the pic it looks like it might rub and cause a hole. Nice progress

I used the four-link calculator version 2.0 on pirate4x4.com. let me know if you need help figuring out wtf is going on with the numbers and stuff. I just learned by changing numbers and seeing what had changed, plus there are little notes there too.

Thanks for the looking out ledevil. I'm clear in that department. Made sure nothing was touching the bags. What is a good angle to run the triangulated links to the axle in reference to the frame.

the more angle you can get, the better off you will be as far as keeping the rearend centered. my links are about 4" apart at the frame, and about 28" at the axle. be careful when yo weld to the frame, use reinforcement plates wherever you are going to weld something to it. the frames are thin in the first place, and 28 years of weather doesn't help anything.
