I wanna see some pics of how you guys did your front shocks. . . And do mazdas have clearance issues like s10s do?? i know its a pain in the ass to get your shocks relocated on s10s to get em to not limit steering without recessing them into the frame. . what about mazdas? ? ? I need pics. . I'm gonna put the lower stud onto the DOM part of my control arms. . I jus wanna make sure its not gonna cause problems. . . or if i should start lookin into a diff direction. . Maybe mountin the lower end on top of the DOM? ? ? ?

Here is how I did mine. I used S-10 Blazer shocks on all 4 corners of my truck. The front shocks are mounted to the lower control arm and then did a bracket onto the frame. The back ones are mounted to my lower 4 link bars then to my notch. Hope these pictures help. I can get more if you need them.

Also. . What kind of Bilatein shocks do people run?? There's alot of different ones. .

Does it limit your steering at all? ? ? And thanks for the pics. . thats similar to s10s so if that doesn't limit steering, then i should be fine. .

Oh I also get plenty of lift out of the front of my truck to clear 18s with those shocks.

Yea i'm not worried bout that so much. . Cuz I'm gonna use Seth's lil formula to figure out where I need to put the lower mount to use the full stroke of the shock with the full cycle of the suspension. . .

Well when I bolt an 18x7" wheel on the truck I can do a complete turn. And nothing hits. I guess it would depend on how wide of a wheel you are going to run. I went with an 18x7" with a 5 3/4 backspace. So I really dont a lot of wheel behind my hub. So I got alot of room. Lift is good too! I just went to my local NAPA and got S-10 blazer shocks. They are small but they work.

Yeah the only thing is when I air up to turn with 18s on it the shock is almost maxed out. It gets enough lift but the sock is almost all the way out. But not much i can do now. Unless I redo them. Whats seths formula?

You want the shock maxxed out at full lift to keep the bag from over extending. . I'm gonna run Bilsteins up front. . So I'll get em made to whatever specs I need. .

And Sosa jus made this thread askin bout it yesterday. . check it out. .
