i wanna lower my 84 i just bought like 2 inches max in the front how many rounds in the spring do i need to cut out?

1 coil should do the trick.If not you can always take out more but you can't put it back.

ok how much drop can i gain if i flip the ball joints in the front adn pull a helper spring in the rear. im wasting to do mabe like 2inch in the front and like 4 in the rear.

and any body got pics how to pull the front spring out to cutt and pics of fliped balljoints on a 84?

to flip the ball joints, all you have to do is unbolt the bj's brom the bottom of the arms, and bolt them onto the top of the arms. you don't even have to unbolt them from the spindle. that gets you about 3/4" lower. make sur to support the bottom arm with a jack so the spring pressure is not on the bj's.

Oh, you can have your cake and eat it, too. Look at mine. bagged, bodydropped, set up for 20's (which i will soon be scooping up since the big fat tax return is soon to be here:) ) Mine will be a daily all year round except for winter, and I'm gonna love it.

yea but man i got plans on baggin my beetle that i got i just want to have a nice beater for now and mabe later ill be able to bag it
