i just wanna put in a little advice, i used to have 20x8.5 +40 offset wheels with a 225/30/20 tire, with all 4x4 sheetmetal, and a ( 2 INCH) body drop,

now on the front of mine everything worked fine, it tucked good, didn't rub but was really close threw the lifting cycle and this is with drop spindles, without everything would be fine,

as for the back when i was layed out the tires rubbed pretty good on the top of the box, and remeber i only have a 2 inch bd so, a 3 inch bd might have some problems

I have a 2.5" body drop. 20 X 7.5 with a 40mm offset and 225/30R20 tires. If I wanna do a u-turn I have to be about 3/4's up on my travel, but I can drive around lower and make right and left turns without rubbing. I have drop spindles and 2wd fenders.

Theres a fellow on craigslist selling some 20's that I might get, but can anyone tell me how theyd fit ? Only thing Ive done is crank down the front torsion bars and add'd 3" lowering blocks. Would I have to cut any of the sheetmetal in the fenders in the front or back ?

Sorry have not had time to be on lately, Oh haha yah i spaced my control arms in with milled shims

And space ball joints after flipping them. I clear everything up front and have ability to turn truck not all the way locked up lol.

ONLY PROBLEM NOW IS THIS, im running narrow rearend because im BD and wheels will push out on fender above body line if you dont narrow it. Im running a montero rear but will need to narrow rails to... I didnt think i would have to but by chance my trucks suspension shifts a 1/4 inch to right or left i will hit my rails with the 20s.

One other way to fix the problem since the montero rear is 2" more narrow is spacers. 1/2 spacers will allow clearance on rails and bed sides (BUT) I cant find wheel studs that are 2 1/2 long to bolt wheels back on!!!!

If you get those 20s Dont run anything less then 38mm Offset you will regret it, Or measure from back spacing on wheels to front lip make sure its not over 3.5" Thats a lame way to do it but it works!
