What offset and back spacing do you guys have for your 20" wheels.. I have decided I dont want to switch to toyota hubs.. I am going to order through B.A.D. and want to do it soon. I am going to bag and body drop to the rocker.. and I'm not sure what the back spacing and offset I will need. I want to order 20" x 8.5" wheels. If you guys have any information please let me know.

First of all thank you for not going to toyota hubs (i'm sure someone will says something...LOL). Anyway you will need aleast a 7" to 7" 1/2 backspacing to clear your rear fenders and that depends on if you have 2wd or 4wd sheet metal. I'm sure someone will jump in and correct me if I'm wrong. Also what size tire are you going to run?

Yea bla om toyota conversion. If your gettin bad wheels there prolly 1 off anyway so try for a 20x8 instead of 81/2. I'm about to have a good bit of mazda hubs and axles already machined to 5x4.5 for better wheel selection

are you body dropped, i just got my billets and they are a 7" backspace on a 20x8.5, hopefully bad will make you that big off an offest, they should, i originally wanted intro wheels but the biggest backspace they would do for me was a 6.5, so i went to budnik and they offered up to a 7.5!

is the 7 inch backspacing on a stock axle?
also what offset will i need? ive got 2wd sheetmetal. thanks for the help, you guys are the shit

yes the rear axle is stock, if your doin billet wheels they go by backspace which you would want a 7, in offest i guess that would be like a +45-+50

8.5 wide wheel with a +50mm offset is 6.71inch backspacing, +55mm offset is 6.91 inch backspacing, +60mm offset is 7.11 inch backspacing

so 20x8.5 with 7inches of backspacing will clear the bedsides when bodydropped to the rocker correct? does the same apply for the front as well?

I know it will clear when laying frame I couldn't tell you about laying rocker but I don't see why it wouldn't clear. The front you will have to pie cut your UCA if you are going to keep the stock arms and that will be putting the wheel close to the 2wd fenders, but it should clear you may have to trim the lip on the inside of the fender.
