So i lowered my truck yesterday (after pics coming...gotta find my card adaptor) and after a bit of hassle (first set of ubolts were too small...scrounged up some new ones for a whole $5! WOOHOO!) so the first time I have the entire thing apart and the damn rearend slid off the jack (tires were maybe a inch off the ground....so hoping everything is ok) had to fight it all back together and rebolted up and went looking for the new ubolts which took me on a trek across the valley cuz I could only find 2 anywhere I went and the only ones I came across were 8" long but hey...they worked....so I decide for the second go round...one side at a time since I am not using a lift like originally planned (shop was just too busy) I get the passenger side apart...although I was gonna TRY and not completey unload the rear end found out pretty quick...thats a bad idea so I unloaded the springs, took it apart and got the block in...so far so good right? YEA>>>SUUUUURE it was...after fighting to get the stupid lil notch to seat again (amazing what your foot can do...LOL)...I get the passenger side all buttoned up and we are lookig pretty good.....so I move on to the drivers and needless to say that went MUCH quicker...so I go to let the truck down off the jackstands....welll...HMMMMM....it wont lift high enough to clear my 6 ton stands....well sonofa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!......so I got a spacer (commonly known as a brick) for the jack....get my stands out....and now...the tires wont touch the ground when on the jack and the spacer....SONOFA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....LOL! So ANOTHER brick under my tires so I could drive off the jack...and she sits much nocer...and ride isnt even half bad considering. Now I decided it was time for a road test....and I THINK I haer some noise coming from the axle....hoping not and gonna check into it more today.....I do still have a bunch of parts and junk from work in the back and I know it was making some noise in the bed....like a rattling noise.....only comes along when on the throttle. Also gonna double check all my bolts (went from the 17mil's to a 3/4 standard...but them 8" bolts made some trouble with tightening up...even my deep wells ran out...hmmmmm.....so I guess from here on out 6" should be good). Still gotta work on the front some more...but thats planned for today....but HEY...IM DOWN!!! wOOt!! (remeber after pics are coming!!!)

Hacksaw them u bolts. Just put a nut on first so you can back them out over the area you cut .

Ok....before any after pics I must say that is one hell of a clean dawg. I think I speak for all of us in saying we are jealous at the condition that thing is in.

A man!! There is some lil dents that need fixed and a new bumper is needed in front...but all in all I thought it was a ok truck. Guy I bought this one from had another that just went up for sale...141,xxx miles and ex cab and even cleaner! it was blue.
