i have a set of CanDo control arms. there are no steering stops built in like on the factory piece. i'm thinking that's something i'll need to do. anyone? if left with none, i'm thinking that i could turn the wheel too far and get into a bind.

my thought is to use a couple poly bump stops on brackets mounted to the frame, where it would contact the inner tie rod ends?

maybe i don't need it at all. all thoughts welcome.

if i do need em, how many turns is in the stock steering.

The probles is that they have to be able to contact the specified area while up or down. If you turn the wheels all the way the steering box will stop before the suspension binds. You could also make a bracket that has stops up on the frame near the box where the arm from the box is whats stopped. just turn it as far as you think it needs to go and add the stop there.
