im looking into stock flooring my 87 mazda b2200 got the 4cyl in it with a 5spd...does anyone on here have pics of there frame from doing the stock floor drop? i dont wanna see a custom frame just a stock mod'd frame need to get some idea's to see what im looking at and forward to with doing this...
first... are you experienced enough to handle that kind of mod to a vehicle?
second... do you have all the tools needed?
third... please dont mod your vehicle if you dont know what your doing... could be a danger to yourself and others...
fourth... post plenty of pictures along the way... maybe some can help point you in the right direction
fifth... good luck
I have seen this done on a nissan and it was cut about 6in from the uca back tward the cab. I would suggest just bulding a 3/4 frame it would be faster to fab and alot safer for you and everyone else around you!
3/4 frame is basically a new frame from the fire wall back using your stock front frame clip. That way your motor mounts, steering, ect... don't need to be modified. You just need to build a tranny crossmember and body mounts.
yes i know what im doing i have the right tools and know how i would just like more information on this build i have never stock floored a MAZDA yes i have stock floored a s10 i have help from other builders on this project i was just looking for more information on the topic that way i dont eff things up hence the reasoning why im on here posting about it asking for detailed pictures on others builds i understand that it is easier to build but i would also still like pictures of how people did their builds my buddys stock floored s10 extended cab came out nice i would like this mazda to turn out the same
