so i have some questions about hubs. i want to know how to convert my hubs from 6 lug to 5 lug. i know i can get them redrilled but is it possible to just install different hubs? and i wanna know if anyone knows anything about running car rims on a mini truck. i might be acquiring some new corvette rims soon and i want to know it there is a difference between rims or if it even matters since mazdas arent very big anyways and dont really weigh much.

sorry to hijack your thread mate but i am also curious about swapping hubs/spindles... i have a 89 yota frame that has stock spindles and control arms on it is there any easy way of swapping it onto my mazda either using just the yota spindles or swapping the control arms also...

best way to do a 5 lug swap is to use toyota spidles.. you will have to change ball joints... the break lines will bolt up to yota spindles.... also you would have to swap the rear end.... as far as the rims... it will depend on the offset... corvette rims? those are pretty wide right... hope you dont plan to run bags with those rims.... im running a front wheel drive suv rim.... so like said it will depend on offset....

they can be pretty wide and i am planning on bagging it. i'm currently looking for a 4x4 bed and possibly a skinnier rearend

the yota pick-up rear end is slightly narrower then the mazda's... if they rims wont tuck up into the fenders, you wont be able to lay out on bags...

i feel pretty confident that they will. they arent much wider than some of the stuff other guys are running.

if your not 100% sure and they dont tuck then your out that money and have to find different rims... just saying make 100% sure before you buy them... you should be able to find out the rims size and offset from the seller......

so if i was to use yota spindles with yota balljoints on the mazda arms for the front will that be ok??? rear end is fine i will just use a yota rear diff assembly...

i looked it up and they are 18x8.5 with a +56mm offset. will those work?
