already learnd perty much everything i need to know bout air ride on my 89. thanks to all y'all for that. once its outta impound its gittin tore down to git built.

so my new question... how much lift can i do on my 93? would 2 inches be too much for the CVs? i'm thinkin 2" in front and 3" in the rear.

I think the cv's would go out alot faster, i have my bars all the way up and you can just hear the axles bearings grinding everytime i turn. what sucks about the having a 4x4 mazda is they dont sell any after market lift kits. I think the way to go is to buy the body lift kit ima bout to throw that in my truck and just mess the torsions a little.

can you do a body lift on an automatic?

duh! LOL!

all you doing is putting a spacer in between the body and the frame.

And there has to a be a lift kit out there somewheres....kuz there is a lifted 2wd here in town...and if I hads the money, I would go scoop it up and have both my worlds covered......in reality, you COULD make a llift kit for it...a drop down crossmember bar for the bars is basically all that being done anymore...chevys and fords are all dropped crossmembers now...more or less

True, it just sucks that dropped crossmembers arent available to phurchase but custom is always better! Ill post some picks of my 4x4 here tommorow

well duh! lol i just gave away my body lift from my 89. plus the whole cord thingy for the shifter i wasn't sure of... hmm... dropped crossmember... imma look into this...

i saw in one of the newest diesel mags or 4x4 or offroad mags (sorry not sure which one) they make a drop torsion mount for chevy's so when u lift it the whole torsion bar doesn't hang down as low as the rest of the suspension. cradle lifts are gay anyway. at least they're trying. i suggest straight axle and leaf springs!!

I was able to get an aftermarket suspension lift for my 4x4. They do make them, they are just hard to come by, just like the brush guards, hitches and every other damn thing on these trucks.

The suspension lift that I go was an Ironman Suspension Lift. I think they come out of Australia. Pretty sweet though if you can find them. The shocks are nice! and the torsion bars are killer!

The kit contains shackles, U-bolts, shocks, heavy duty torsions, leaf packs, and the bushings for everything.
