best bolt on c notch's

simply because i don't own a welder, i wanna get some bolt on c notch's
i see many different options on airbagit.com
whats the best option for my 87 b2200?

get it welded...bolted will fall apart on you....at the worst possible moment it can.

surely you have a friend somewhere with a welder or know someone with a welder...hell have the high school teacher weld it in for you. (I have done that once and it worked really well...and I had the cut off there also so everything went perfect...and no cost since I was "learning" lol)

Bolt on notch is not going to work with a boxed frame.They are intended for a C channel frame.

Bolt-on's work with boxed frames. Back in the day I had a Beltech one on my full size, that has a boxed frame.

My suggestion if you don't have a welder and still want to use the bolt on is that right after you put it in, drive down to a local shop and get them to throw a couple of beads on it just to make sure.

i thought they were for C-channel frames - but thats beside the point.

wait till you can have someone weld in a 'real' notch.

well my grandfather is really big into antique cars, so i'm sure he knows someone without a doubt, but i would like to be able to just bolt some in there and then have it welded so they wouldn't have to do anything but weld it, but what are the best options for the bolt ons?

yea i wanna kno which notches are good too im in need of one there is one on suicidedoors.com it just says bolt on notch for 2.25 inch more travel is that one worth gettin??

Not if your going to bag your truck, depending on what size rims and tires you go with, most people on here have a 8inch-10inch notch.

yea but this truck aint gonna b bagged in awhile but i really need a notch every little bump the back end of my trucc jus bottoms out ha no travel what so ever
