if i were to cut off the front bump stop bracket and all, would that create a problem with the control arm moving up and hitting somewhere amongst all of that stuff? or what?

what are the pro's and con's about cutting them off???

cut em off if ya want..

i dont see anything bad about doin that.
good thing is that you dont have to worry bout the arm hittin it ( if your that low)

does it create any tension?
does anything hit?
any odd noises like taking the rear ones completely out?

thanks for the help!

hmm. tension i dont think so, anything hit.. yea that bracket if you dont cut it off, noises.. if you dont cut it off the arm could it that bracket and make some noises..

okay, so if i cut of the stop and the bracket it's attached to, there won't be any worries of things moving around and hitting potentially ruining parts?

anybody ever have any problems from cutting them? i just wanna make sure before i do, it wouldn't be easy to put them back on so i wanna know before i make the cuts!

just don't hit any bumps. learn to swerve around them. problem solved.

haha yeah, but sometimes you just can't and the roads in west knoxville are pretty sketchy.

Its the same way here in Chattanooga man. I don't see any problems with cutting the bump stop brackets, just make sure and index your torsions so you have a better ride. That's what I'm doing to mine when I lower her again & Zing the back half of the frame.
