hey guys. anyone know how much narrower the rearend is on a pathfinder and which year range should i look for. not concerned bout disc brakes. getting ready to bag the rear on my 89 B2200. got some 18 nissan titan wheels and they will rib when i drop it. thanks for any info!!

Its about 2" narrower than the mazda axle. Youll want to look for one from the first generation pathfinders, because the newer ones are wider.

they also have stock 5 links on them. not sure if it'd work for your application, but it's a decent link setup from what i've seen. i have a couple of the axles and links lying around here.. the disc brakes are also a plus. try to get one from a pre-95 pathy.

they're 6 lug.

the pre95s have disc too? didnt think they would be back that far. any idea on gear ratios. also im putting a v8 in the truck. should i get a 4wd rearend? im assuming it would be stronger...

Yeah the pre 95s have discs. Couldnt find any info on gear ratios but there are aftermarket gears available so you could always regear it.

i found a 95 with disc. is this included in "pre-95"? might sound like a stupid question i just dont want to spend the money if its not worth it.

hey guys. i went to the salvage yard today. i measured a 95 with disc brakes and a 93 with drum. both seem to be the same width as my rearend. i measured from the wheel mounting surface of the drum/rotor and from the backing plate and they all seem to measure the same. help me out here guys. the rearend is whats holding me up!
