check the control arm bushings prolly the uppers......lift wheels off the ground and grab tire move it in out left right up and down see if there is any play

Front end is out of alignment, got too much tow in the front end, an alignment shop will take care of that for ya. As far as the camber, only way to get rid of it is with spindles or some cuttin and weldin!!

He did mention that the wheel was turned. The only true way to determine if the alignment is out (unless it is completely whacked) is to get it to an alignment shop and have them check it. An alignment wouldnt hurt, but I would think there is another problem in there causing this.

yeah he had the wheel almost straight, and didn't move it between sides, mine was like that but worse till i got the front end aligned, prolly wouldn't hurt to redo all the bushings and everything in the front end either, considering these trucks are old and still have mostly, original parts, lol

Having been thru this process I would say it is definately an alignment issue. But, an alignment can only do so much if there is worn parts. What Todd say is correct - put a floor jack under the lower control arm as close to the tire as you can. Raise the jack just enough to get the one tire off the ground. This takes all the weight off the ball joints (upper / lower). Grab the tire and wiggle in all directions - very little play is normal. Anything more than that indicates worn parts or loose wheel bearings.

Re-Indexing the torsion bars may have exagerated the situation but probably did not create it.
