has anyone ever converted their wheel studs to the 14x1.5 gm stud? i have the chevy 17" bullet hole wheels and i want to use the caps for the wheels however you have to use the factory lugs in order to do this...

go get the lug nuts for an s10 that have the threads on the outside to hold the little black caps on. they are the same thread as your stock studs. I know this because I had to use the one's I had sitting around last night on my 92' b2600

it's plastic going on metal, does it really matter? If you want an exact fit rap the outer threads of the of the s10 lug nuts in one (1) layer of thin tin foil, spread some epoxy on the foil and screw the plastic caps on.
The foil will keep the epoxy from sticking to the metal threads put will adhere to the plastic cap. Tada!!! instant screw on fit.

oh and make sure you let it dry for a day as one piece (lug nut + foil + epoxy + plastic cap)
