I just took two leafs out on both leaf springs, added 2" blocks and now I'm getting a rattling noise. The thing is that it only rattles when I am pressing the accelerator. Can anyone tell me what the noise is and how to fix it?

Ok its more like a ticking sound.

check your oil... and possibly an exhaust heatsheild... does it rattle while parked and at idle?

The noise is defintely coming from the rear axle somewhere....the wheels? the differential? the drive shaft? somewhere in the back.

check the gear oil in the rear end.... may be low..... also could be the joints in the nuckles on the drive shaft

Okay...just so you know this noise didn't happen before I lowered the rear...none...zero....as soon as I took it down off the jack stands and drove it around the noise started.

If you did the monoleaf setup your leafs may be banging together. My leafs were banging together and driving me nuts. I had to put a piece of rubber between the leafs to quite them down
