I have a buddy that wants to know if you can flip the ball joints with 15" Fronteir wheels? Can it be done, or will there be clearence issues?

It'll work, but flipping ball joints sucks. Throws off your alignment, gives you massive negative camber, puts lots of extra stress on the balljoints and rides like a bag of crap.

i am a front end alignment tech and i can tell you that if you do flip your ball joints it will give you so much neg camber you wont be able to fix it def reccomend not doing that dude, rob

when I flipped my bj's I had so much neg camber I chewed through a set of tires in 200 miles.

You get alot of negative camber when you flip both (top and bottom) ball joints? In a nut shell, ball joints can be flipped with 15" wheels?

not sure if itll clear with 15"s but you should be able to flip both bj's but you wont really gain anything but negative camber. why is he wanting to flip them for??

He ants to flip them because the torsion arm bolts are rusted solid, and he wants the truck to ride level. Front is higher then the rear, which is monoleafed and 3" blocks.

If you want to flip the ball joints, only flip the lower. Flipping the top does nothing. Itll only gain you about an inch and you will need to get an alignment after doing so.
