i have a 91 b2600i ext cab short bed. i wanna bag my truck with 4 link. im runnin 16's. i wanna know bout how much more would it cost to body drop it a couple of inches to drag rockers? im not good at welding so i wanna get somebody to do it for me. bout how much more would they charge me. yeah i know i should build not buy but i dont have that kind of experience.lol please any help would be great.

most shops will probably start there pricing at $2500 for a body drop

the only way you gain experience is by tackling jobs you have never done before
by all means don't go weld your own notch and 4 link if you haven't done any structural welding before
but your going to pay a pretty penny for a body drop because of the fabrication hours.

In my province there isn't even a shop that would put ANY vehicle on air!

well thanks for all the replies. just kinda puttin my hands out there to see what yall think. prolly wont bodydrop it. but im tryin to get my hands on this clean b2200 in town hopefully next week after the car gets sold.lol

you really dont need to bodydrop it. It only takes a couple inches for a mazda to lay rocker. youre good enough just laying frame imo.

yeah i figured thatd be what i would do is just frame. umm stupid question but how much does it cost total parts wise to bag my truck with a 4 link. and id like to get descent lift.

Typically speaking on a basic bag job with a 4link setup you are looking at $1500 in parts and labor is about the same amount. I normally price a basic setup to off the street customers at my shop for $2500 to $3500 me buying the parts and everything depending on what the truck looks like if its been hacked up or whatever.

Its not cheap but if you decided to do it keep in mind that the quality of parts you put under your ride is all thats keeping you off the ground while you are driving so don't skimp on parts and don't let some "friend" hack your frame all to pieces do it right the first time and it will last you for years.
