So I want to run a pressure switch but want to control it with a toggle. I have the toggle wired before the pressure switch and it seems like the compressors never shut off. All of this is running off a relay. I'm just so confused. I haven't got around to installing a air gauge but it sure seems like the tank has a lot of pressure.

how do you got the relay wired, I got a kill switch wired into the relay power wire ran from my ing. acc.wires that way it kills the power going to the relay in turn killing the power going to the compresor, I got my pressure switch wired up runing the ground wire thru it so it gets a ground when it needs air,

plus the size ofthe compresor will make a big differents in why it seems like a long time to get to the psi cut off of the switch, I got a mazda b2600i and i can pick the front up at 60psi and the rear at like 5psi(over axle setup)and I got a switch with 145 on and 186 off psi so you may have the same thing like me and just thank your getting up there in psi when all you got is just enf psi topick up the truck, but get a gauge and it will help you out in knowing

Well i have two 480c and a 380c viairs going to a 12 gallon tank. Well when i say it has lots of pressure I mean that the back hops about an inch off the ground.
Im running three relays. Each relay has its own power coming from a distribution block with 12v power on 30 on the relay. And 87 goes on all the relays goes to the compressors. Then 86 i have it jumpered to each relay goes to the switch then from the switch back to the pressure switch from the pressure switch to ground. I also have a three prong switch with a led in it and for the led to work the switch has to be grounded. So im thinking that may have some thing to do with it. IDK... Ill try switching the toggle and pressure switch, so the pressure switch comes first.

i got a diagram of the relay and anything neccasary for the toggle

it would be wired the same way i showed you for the one comp.... need one wire coming from one side of the pressure switch to each relays 86 .... then one wire from + going to one side of the switch.... the other side of the toggle to one side of the pressure switch.... then the ground for your switch

87- 12 volt (fused from the battery or from a switched 12volt source)
86- from the toggel
85 ground
30 out to comp

I got it I had a gauge that i through in real quick. I guess it takes longer than I assumed to fill my tank. The pressure switch shut it off.

12 gals is alot of air.... glad you figured it out

With that said is it better to run a bigger tank or a smaller tank? Because i was figuring that with a bigger tank you have more volume and would be able to fill the bags more often with out the compressors turning on, but on the other hand if you had a smaller tank tank less volume but it would take less time to fill back up.
