Hey guys this the 1st year i have had my bagged truck ( 94 S-10), and i went out to drive it and my front wont raise up!. I think the valves are frozen..... we got hit with that snow storm a few days ago and its be cold....
Any ideals of what I can use???? this is my daily driver, I was told u pure rubbing alcohol down in the tank, or air brake antifreeze... what about HEET gasline anitfreeze?? thanks in advance...

when mine froze up i just banged on them a little bit and they unfroze. you can try some warm water poured on top of them as well. this is just to get them unstuck.

do not use alchohol it with mess up your valve internals. Run a water trap after your compressor and then an oiler with airbrake antifreeze in it. try a hair dryer to law the valves out for now.

wasn't there just a thread with this EXACT same topic just a few days ago?
wait. why would you put GAS-LINE antifreeze in your AIR tank?

a cap full of air-brake anti-freeze should last you all winter. just open a fitting on the tank and pour it in. thats it, all you need to do, done.

lol yes there was a mult page thread on frozen lines... had they used the search function and searched for "froze" would of found answer in the bagged daily thread.... ok just an fyi the airbreak anti-freeze is only a temp solution as it doesn't last very long, maybe a day or two depending on your weather conditions. i know that big rigs (10wheels) use it alot but not sure how its going to affect your valves. is it just me or are these s10 owners sillying up our threads?

the air really should be bubbled through in a sense to evaporate the antifreeze the best. I had one truck driver say they take their leader hose off there compressor after the checkvalve and just pour it in the line so that it bubbles through the liquid, this makes it most effective. Thats why I suggested using an oiler.
