wut offset is needed to tuck under 2wd sheetmetal? 20x 8.5 wide wheel?

I am somewhat guessing, but I know that mine are a +25 offset and they would not tuck on 2wd metal. I think you would need a +40 to +45 offset. If you really want to stay stock looking you need to keep your wheels narrower that 8.5". More like 7"-7.5". Otherwise you run into issues in the rear wells on the inner edges. If you are not running bed tubs then you can probably get away with 8.5". Keep in mind that I am just taking an educated guess and I am not running 2wd metal or 20"s. -Ed

Couple questions. Are you BD or plan on doing it? Are you still running 6 lug or did you convert over to 5 lug?

OK on 2wd sheet metal you will need to run at least a 7 inch backspacing on a 8.5 wide wheel. I'm running 20x8.5 with 4x4 sheet metal and I have 6.28 backspacing and they just clear the sheet metal. Now another option is build new shorter UCA and LCA to make up the difference(that would allow you to run less backspacing). And on the rear you could run a late 80's mitsubishi montero rear end which is the same 6 lug and its 2inches narrower.
