I got a set of 20s.. tires are 255/35/20 they are 8.5 with 6in back space.. i got flipped control arms upper and lower, 2wd sheet metal.. no wheel tubs etc... It lays perfect on my 16s with 40 series tire.. How does everyone get to tuck there 20s with stock components and 6 lug setup... lets make it easy for US 20in.. newbies..

I went through all this in the thread I have going called tubbin n dubbin I think our wheel sizes are close too, though I am runnin drop spindles, still tweaking my bag placement too, let know if ya have any specific q's on anything I did.

If you stay will your wheel that has 6 inch backspacing you are going to have to do alot of WORK. I have 20x8.5 with 6.28 backspacing with 4x4 sheet metal and it just clears. I have pie cut my UCA to allow for more balljoint movement and notch the wall of the frame to allow for the bag to get closer to the pivot point on the LCA. You will run into the brake booster and/or clutch mater cylinder and that will need to be worked out. Now for the rear you are going to have to find a mitsubishi montero rear end it has the same 6 lug and it is 2 inches narrower. Give me a call if you have anymore questions 443-983-0564 (Chuck). Its easier for me to talk about this the to type about it.
