So if you've got stock tires.. and wheels, that puts me at about a 5 inch drop in the back.

driver side is supposed to be about 1/2- 1 inch lower because of the crown of the road. its to level out the truck when driving. chev took this to the extreme, thats why everyone says its the "chevy lean" they normally go about 1- 1 1/2 inches lower on the driver side. (tilting to let the driver in )

Old thread but the proper way to measure suspension height is from the middle of the hub to the edge of the fender. It will be consistent between trucks regardless of tire height. I forgot to measure my new mazda before i dropped it sunday. I reindexed the torsions, flipped ball joints, and relocated the bump stops up front and pulled 2 leaves with 3" blocks in the back. And i wanna know how much my truck is dropped!

What is a stock mazda from the middle of the hub to the edge of the fender? ? That wouldnt change no matter what wheel/tire combo you put on it. . You can have a 12" drop, but if you have 40" tall tires, you will still be way off the ground, swap those wheels out for some that are 25" tall, and you are layin frame, but you didnt touch the suspension, get it? ? SO SOMEONE PLEASE MEASURE MIDDLE OF THE HUB TO THE EDGE OF THE FENDER ON THE FRONT AND BACK OF A STOCK MAZDA! ! ! ! Thanks
