The current truck is a 92 B2200i Cab Plus.
I dont know if I should lift my truck, rake it or slam it?

I've never been a fan of trying to drag my fat ass outta somethin low to the ground.

My last truck was running 235/75R15's in the rear & 205/75R15's in the front. I still have the wheels & tired from it.

Now for a rake, I was thinking 17's in the rear with a 2" body lift, and the 15's in the front. running 205/55R15.

if I lift it all around, Run 17's?

As for slammin it...

can you go this low?? (grin)

Hey guys, I am no longer in my 20's. I am in my 40's and packin an extra person around the waist line.

Like I said, I'm not a fan of draggin my fat ass out of something that is a low rider.

But I would like to hear honest options, as well as how I go about doing such. I know how to block the body, but I dont know how to lower it, other than doing the torsion bars in the front.

I got to say I love your honesty just an idea you could install some air shocks in the back so after you lower it you can raise it up to make it easier to get out of. I'm like you I love how in a truck for the most part you can just turn and step right out instead of having to climb out.

there are a lot of guys on here that will help you out man, in anything you may need,,,,,, as for the getting out of a droped truck, put a remote on it get out at ride hight then drop it so it looks cool

Exzactly !!!!!!I have a alarm system on mine( not hooked up) that as soon as I alarm they system it pancakes to the ground. So u should slam it and I too am packing a extra spare tire and it is a bitch getting out of the truck but it's the price I pay because I wanna drag

If I bag it, then it means I end up cutting up the truck. I dont want to drag metal, and I'm not wanting to cut the truck up. I had "air shocks" in my other truck, made it ride higher, but it also gave it a really rough bouncy ride and was horrible off road.

What about pneumatic shocks like the Pathfinder's utilize? Could I make something like that to work on the B?
I also like to use my truck as a truck. I pack my pontoon boat in the back country for some flyfishing on that lake a car cant get to. I've never owned a Highway Princess..

I have seen a lot of slammed B's and they look sweet. But that just isn't my style. However this is the first VERY NICE B I have owned, the others have all been beater trucks.
