after recently lowering my truck and buying what I was told/thought would work, I now have to buy another set of shocks since the ones I got are too long.

I lowered my truck by reindexing and turning the torsions, removed bumpstops and bumpstop bracket for the front
for the rear I have a 3" angled block and removed 2 leaves and have a small c-notch

I bough these shocks, which are too tall for this drop. (they are for sale. only on truck for 5 days and counting)

monroe part # 32206 (also known as isuzu shocks) for the front which measures 8.375" compressed and 12.5" extended
monroe part # 31094 for the rear (stock replacement) 12" compressed and 19" extended (actually is bottomed out at 14" compressed

from the research I did I found that the doetsch tech shock 4028G should work for the front.
it is 7.40" compressed and 10.90" extended

Brian (see below) recommended the doetsch tech shock 4095G 11.35" collapsed and 18.25" extended for the rear

Brian from Illusive Design & Fab is a member on here and has these shocks for sale and seems to be the only one who has them as I couldn't find them online or locally

please add any other shocks with part numbers that will work with our lowered trucks along with their collapsed and extended measurements.

I'm running the doetsch techs, 4028G/front and 4095G/rear, and they are great. you could also get the 4052G shocks for the rears, only 10" compressed and 15" extended, but it might be the difference in laying the rear end or not. I got mine through Cando Specialties, formerly Altered Images, in Oroville, CA.

got the new doetsch tech shocks today and got them put on. they are stiffer than the monroes (obviously) but they are the perfect length as I no longer bottom them out. thanks to Brian at Illusive for the great service and turn around time.

I ordered the Doetsch M4028G's and the 4095G's for my truck from Can Do Specialties too. They should get here Monday. I'm glad to hear they work great and fit right too.

the doetsch tech were too stiff for the rear (for my taste) so I did some more research and found the perfect rear shock if you are real low. I just boght it and put it on and it's the ride I was looking for.

"Mr. Jaun Durfle" above has the same drop and doestch tech all around and is happy with the firm ride

monroe 32207 11.25" compressed 17.875" extended

I started with the 31094 listed at 12" and 19" but actually bottoms out at 14"
then I bought the doetsch techs listed above, but were too stiff
and now have the 32207 and it's perfect

hope this saves someone the trouble of buying 3 different sets of shocks
luckily I can take the first monroes back for a refund
