I'm concerned about a noise I have been hearing since I lowered my truck. The noise seems to be coming from the rear somewhere, not quite sure where as it only does it when the truck is moving under power. The truck is lowered in the rear with mono leaf and helper spring and 3 inch blocks, in the front it is 2.5 inches lower than stock by cranking the torsion bars. The sound is like a light metal clanking that gets faster when the RPM's raise. It only does it when the truck is in gear (manual trans) and going down the road under engine power. I can hear it in first through forth gears, not fifth. Could it be the Carrier Bearing? I don't know what one of those sounds like when it goes out, but that is my un-educated guess. The noise didn't start right after I lowered the truck; the day after it had been lowered is when it started. Do you think the angle of the driveshaft could be off? I haven't seen anyone saying they had to shim their axle with this type of lowering. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
