Well in the near future i am going to be redoing my front bag plates and am wondering if anyone would suggest running drop spindles? When the truck was first layed out the balljoints maxed and bent the UCA's.I have picked up a new set but I believe Spindles should correct this camber issue and stop the UCA balljoint from maxing out. I do not know the offset of the wire wheels i will be running but currently have 2wd sheetmetal on the truck and dont want my wheels hitting the fenders, will the spindles cause this?

Just looking for some general opinions and ideas about running spindles
I am also running 2wd sheetmetal

camber with the first front bag plate setup when the frame was 2" from the ground at max drop. Currently plates have been zipped off for new setup.

thanks everyone

I don't know a lot about the 86-93 Mazdas but did you double check that nothing else is keeping the truck from laying out?

I definitely recommend drop spindles for a truck on air. If you want to gauge the camber with the drop spindles, rotate your suspension so that it is 2 inches higher in that pic then that would be your camber with the drop spindles.

yes i would run spindles, im runing them and they help out a lot, as for the rim hitting your fender, they do push the whole break setup out about a half inch but from the looks you should still be ok,hard to tell but looks ok, mine do hit but only if im turning, and if im aired down a little, i do have to air up all the way to make hard turns

it really doesnt fix your camber much but it pushes the wheel out like 2 inches. did you pie cut your upper control arms and flip your lower ball joints?

How about installing 3in drop lower control arms instead of spindles??

Mu lowers aren't flipped and my uca's aren't pie cut. I don't want to have to cut my uca. When the frame lays my uppers maxed out and bent my old uca's. I'm just looking to see if its possible to run these wheel, 2wd sheet metal and lay frame without the wheels poking too much

well your ball joints are in a bind and thats why your uca's got bent. pie cutting them will relieve the tension by giving more ball joint movement.

yes but spindles will fix that and the camber alittle as well, and its only 1/2" on both sides so 1" total
