I'm getting ready to redo my front suspension in a couple of weeks to lay out my 20's right. This weekend I'm putting my 318 in and I was just wondering about how much more stress the front will be under? I plan on going over kill with gussets anyway. Just wondering if anyones got one how much more pressure it takes to lift and what not.

I'm not sure the weight difference between the 318, and your current motor but as for lift and pressure slam specialties has a pretty good chart you can use to estimate the change. It shouldn't take much more pressure to lift the v8, but that depends on what type of bags you have, and size.

It's in the force column

I find that it takes about 80 psi to lift the front of my truck up to good ride hieght. I have a 350 tpi in my truck and I am running the slam he 400 psi duel port bags.

You're probably running the HE-7s then?
I'm running RE-6s and it takes 80 psi to get mine off the ground with my LT1.
