Well I have sprung a leak in one of my rear bags an I'm trying to decide which to go with. I have/had the universal air "power house" bags in the rear an I'm trying to figure out what bag would take it's place. By the way I've had these bags for 3 or 4 years now. From what I found on airride talk I'm guessing that a re-7 would be right close, just short of the max height. Any help or reccomendations would be nice.

I like Universal Air, but yeah you are right the RE-7 or SS-7 are same in size. Check here

The SS has 1" less in max height than the Universal Air

You get a discount on that site from being a member on here.

I would'nt have ever thought that the slam bags were any good just by pictures. I recently got to put my hands on a set of re 6 & 7's (iirc), and they're a really well put together bag. Has anyone else ran a universal air bag an had it weathercheck on them? I may have to get after those ss-7's, that's a really good price compared to the power house @ $109 a piece.

I highly recommend the slam, I used them to daily my Ranger. I do how ever like universal air, they always seemed to lift more than the other bags. The only problem I had with them was they seem to deform very easily. You get 5% off that price with your discount, the code is in the modplant section.

Just curious as to how long it takes for modplant to get on the ball and process an ship products? I ordered my bags on wednesday and still no update or shipping info.

Eric we have sent numerous emails to the address you emailed us from on Friday. Your order has already shipped and tracking info was sent to you. Do you have another email address you would like it sent to?

Slams do, how much psi are you using?

They will loosen up just a bit. Not a whole lot but will some. And they are a pretty sturdy bag. I have had a 1 inch long gash in mine about a 1/4'' wide for a while on my daily and still holds up perfectly fine and leaks none at all.
