so i jacked up my truck got under there and started looking at the front of axle leaf spring mount has a nut on one side and 2 little bolts on the outter frame side mount and was looking at my lower 4 link bars (bought used) and looks like i can take the bolt out of the leaf spring and bolt up my lower 4 link bar into the stock leaf spring mount MY QUESTION IS is there 1 main bolt for the leaf spring on the mount? or is it like something u take off with the 2 lil bolts and pull the whole piece out of the mount to remove the main leaf? basically what im asking can i use my stock frame mount for my 4 link??? please help thanks

If you plan on dragging or laying frame, my opinion no. Your leaf mounts are the lowest points on your frame, and are usually discarded with 4 link

That would not be a good Idea at all if your baggin and draggin. Those mounts don't last long when they're put to the pavement. Gotta keep those bars above the bottom of the frame. A friend of mine has found this out the hard way. He traded for some hacked up Mazda and the lower links are even with the frame. When he drags through his blocks he starts draggin 4-link we are keeping drag metal on the frame until this winter until i get time to fix it
