I'm working on one for my Toyota project which is a similar width. The only rack I have found that you can buy with the right width is the narrowed pinto rack from Flaming River.

Are you running adjustable suspension?

You need to take some measurements of the distance between pivot points for each control arm. Basically measure from the center of the bolt hole of the driver side lower control arm to the center of the bolt hole for the passenger lower control arm. The distance from pivot to pivot on the steering rack needs to match. This is to eliminate bump steer as your suspension cycles. I can't say the exact measurement for a Mazda but I do know our trucks are similar.

I haven't installed the rack yet that's what I'm waiting on now.
