94 b3000 lowering

hey guys, ive been in the mini truckin scene for a while, but have never had a mazda, let alone worked on a b series. what is this front suspension? is it coils or torsions? i dont have the truck yet, but i will in a few weeks, i am just trying to gather info. i looked at this truck once, the rear end was lowered, but i think there after masket or re arched leafs, cuz there is 3 or 4 of them, and no blocks, and its a lt lower than the front, and it also doesnt look like any of them are flipped. it sits nice in the back, but the front deff, needs to come down a few inches, i will be flipping the ball joints too.

well that year truck is straight rebadged ford. its gonna be a little different than 93 and older which were torsion 86-93, not sure about the pre-86. i believe the rangers/newer b series are coils, and parts should be interchangeable between rangers of the same year.

It is a reskinned Ranger. The front end uses Ibeams. It is very different than a control arm type suspension. Most manufacturers that make a drop kit include 3" dropped ibeams. Most people will tell you ibeams are hard but they really aren't. Just have to remember where the parts go like anything else. To swap out the ibeams for each side you will have to unbolt the spindles, springs, calipers, radius arms, and shocks as opposed to just swapping out spindles via lowered spindle kit.

It sounds like either it has a flip kit installed, or some other modification was done. A common modification people do on the rear with these models is they flip the rear shackle hanger. It is held in by 4 rivets, and people grind off the heads, flip it and bolt in back on using the holes from the rivets. This lowers the rear 2-3 inches.

so do they make drop spindles for this too?

No, I was just relating to them since lowered spindles is a common way to lower trucks.

You can lower the front about 2 inches by cutting coils and getting caster camber bushings, anything more than that and your front tires will lay in. I dropped the front of my 95 this way and still has a good ride, had to trim the bump stops. Just make sure to get the front end realigned afterwards. Anything more than that I would suggest the drop beams. Here is a link to the bushings i used for mine.

Yes they have coil springs.

so where is a good place to see these year trucks lowered and in progress builds so i can learn more about them? doesnt look like there is too much here. looks great for the older trucks, but it might be more benificial to go to maybe a ranger site. any tips on where to go from here?
