My truck is static lowered a good bit, took it to get aligned and was told all 4 ball joints needs replaced. I been reading up on flipping them but never really got the answer I was looking for. I have some camber (inside of tire leaning inwards) and the question I have is will flipping the ball joints help correct this some? I don't have enough shims to pull to help this so looking for other possibilities with out dropping tons of cash on drop spindles, or LCAs. Just spent $500 on tires and ball joints.

Is it leaning inward at the top? or bottom

top = negative camber
bottom = positive camber

Shims will pull the top inward if you are adding them. How many degrees is it off?

I have neg camber top of tires lean inwards some. Dont know how many degrees. And like i stated i dont have any shims to remove to improve this. I have read through that link already but never got a straight answer. I know flipping the lower will drop the front about 7/8 of an inch. But will flipping one or the other or both help with neg camber? Some said it did some say it dont. This is not a bag/slam gotta tuck issue just want the tires to last since it will be a daily.

Flipping the ball joints will not help fix your camber issue. The way to fix it is flip the upper monut around so it pushes the upper arm out or buy a set of drop spindles which will help as you can torque abit on the torsion bars and help push the upper part of the tire out.also you can shave the mounting point of the upper cross shaft down so it will push the upper control arm out.

That makes more sense, I didn't know what you meant by not having enough shims to pull. If you have to, just raise it up slightly until you have enough money for drop spindles which shouldn't be much according to the picture.

The way i read the link i gave, then flipping both joints will lower the car 1", and if you then raise the car by turning the torsions back up 1", you should have a little better camber, but may be me that misunderstood something..

no it doesnt work that way. Flipping the bottom is a good idea for static drop because you get more drop and more shock travel. if you raise it back up the inch you drop that is. v8mazda is right, the easiest would be shaving the cross shaft down. A 1/16 of an inch would do alot. flipping the top helps also, but just a little.
