so i was going to cut out the good old bump stops today but when i lowered the truck to see were i should cut i found out that the truck wasnt resting on the bump stop it was resting on my shock mount now im kinda woundering should i cut a peace out of the shock mount has it happened to anyone eles or is my truck the special ed truck of them... any help would be great

hahaha na ur truck is normal... that is a normal thing to have to do to make it set lower.. yes you can cut a small piece off the side to let it move past the mount

now i have one more Quesrtion now i keep cuting and lowering and lowering is there going to be a point were the truck is just going to stop geting any lower or am i always going to be resting on sumthing in the front were there is no suspension cuzs i mean the front of it now once again is resting on a lil peace of bumo stop but after i cut that it looks like is going to be resting on the lower controll arm cuzs i would love to have sum kind of suspenion...

Dang dude how freakin low are you? lol. I've removed my bumpstops, and brackets, and have not hit anything beyond bottoming out the old Isuzu shocks...got Dt's now but no need to go lower either.

so you have your torsion out and bump stops cut and didnt have any other problem it just seems like it always going lower like its never going to rest but maybe its cuzs i have no shock in it to stop it idk just was woundering..

you pulled your tortions out? that is ur spring that is what hold up the truck if you did then yes there is nothing to stop it from going lower, everytime you cut something it will go lower.. if u left them in, there is a point it will stop unles it was reindexed to much..
