You may be able to see a motor poking up out of the back of the dodge, that is the 5.0 and AOD trans that will be going in this pickup. I made a post previously about my lowering plans but i acquired a set of 4" lowering blocks for free. I heard bad things about 4" blocks, why is this? would 4" get me really low without pulling leafs? I plan on new shocks all around either way. Then to match the front should i just crank down the torsions? Ive heard of people removing them altogether, is this okay? Last question is, will the added weight of the v8 lower it much where i shouldnt worry about flipping ball joints?

C notch the frame if your going to use 4 inch blocks I have 4inch blocks and cranked torsion bars haven't any problems just needed to c notch it mines a 91 b2600i

i Dont think i would mono leaf it with a 5.0 going in it. will end up snapping the springs. ofcourse if i were putting a 5.0 in it i wouldnt be using the factory axle either. Just crank the torsions in the front or get some drop spindles. If you pull the torsions out then you will ride on bumpstops with no suspension and the crossmember an inch from the ground. Not very smart in my opinion.
