Hey guys im new to mazdas just bought an 84 b2000 from my little brother. I can post pictures of it later but right now im looking at dropping this thing on the cheap. indexing the tbars and flipping the ball joints, then lowering blocks for the rear. This part im not worried about at all. My main question is how can i tuck the tires? its got 215/70/r14s on it and as it sits the tires stick out maybe half an inch. seems to me that is i lower this thing the tires are just goin to hit the fenders and ill wont be able to turn or even drive. anyone ran into any problems like this?

get some pics up, sounds like maybe the stocks are setting out to much but when you lower it they will pull in..

Gotta see pics. If it's on stock wheels, it should tuck.

If its an 84 model then it doesnt have torsion bars it has springs up front.

^what that guy said. Pre-86s have coil springs in the front.

Any one know where I can find springs or drop spindles for my 84? Or if they even make them.

Ended up just cutting the springs. Just a note to everyone interested, 2 coils brought it down just about 3.5". I used 3" lowering blocks in the back. Its not the prettiest truck, but then again, I don't really care.
