hey i have a 91 mazda b2600 i want to lower it, i know that i can put the shackles in the back but how can i lower the front? i only want to drop it two incehs.. can anyone give me some suggestions thanks

2wd or 4wd? shackles would raise it in the back... drop blocks will be your best bet (only if 2wd) and torsion lower the front

thanks 91 yeah its a 2wd im trying to get on a clean and nice status

yeah skip the shackles, those will just make you sit higher... mazdawg mikey recently did 3in blocks, with full leaf pack, overload on top the pack on a buddy's truck and says it rides great, no axle slap on frame. sits nice too

when you drop it, change your shocks, atleast up front, and run 1991 isuzu pup 4wd front shocks on your truck. with the 2.6 engine the front is a little heavier than the 2.2/2.0 models, and the 2wd pup shocks wont support your front for long, i can tell you that from experience cause i tried them. i've been running 4wd on my truck, put them on cortnyes purple single cab, and ran them on my old 89 single cab and the ride is great. make sure you cut out the front bump stops as well so you arent riding around lca into the bump stop. makes for a rough uncomfortable ride if you dont.

^^^^yep

lol its rough and uncomfortable if you do cut em out. mines bouncy as hell and bottoms out all the damn time

Hey Leland is that truck in the pic u posted running that 3" block with full leaf pack and overload on top? That's a sick drop if it sits that low and doesn't hit axle. I'm monoleafed at that height and it sucks

not if you cut the bump stops out and rekey your torsion 2 splines and run with shorter shocks. r3dline, i wish you were somewhere close to me, i'd take you for a ride in mine and show you contrary to your belief

1991 mazda b2600i

-1991 isuzu 4wd 6cyl front shocks
-poly urethane end link bushings shaved down a little to use as upper shock mount bushings
-completely removed bump stops (ones that contact lca)
-rekeyed torsions
-balljoint flip
-205/40r16s on chevy z71 rims
-coil on shock load carrying shocks (rear)
-3in z behind cab
-upper shock mount tab trimmed to allow clearance of the uca

rides as close to a caddy as i can get without being bagged, so in other words close to stock but, a little stiffer, but not a bounce, bounce, bounce your boobies kind of ride.

most likely your still on factory shocks, r3dline, and thats where you are most likely bottoming out and getting that bounce... i have a good 3-5 inches of travel in my front end and as hard as my fat 220lb ass can jump on the front... i still have yet to bottom out the front end on mine...

and SLAMMEDb26i, yes thats exactly how that truck in the pic is setup... mazdawg mikey handled the drop on that truck and said its full leaf pack in the rear, 3in blocks, and overload on top the pack and thats how the truck sits. he's trying to get that truck from a friend and said it rides great setup like that. and yeah mikey said the axle dont hit. i used to have my rear setup just like you have yours, and i agree that ride sucks. thats why i ended up doing the z after the accident, and went back to a full leaf pack with no blocks.

I ride in Leland's truck on the daily...it rides better now with his load carrying shocks in the rear. And when we first lowered my truck, it rode sorta rough too, but most of my parts probably have never been changed since it was made in 87.. New shocks and such work wonders.

It also rides better now that its got a full leaf pack in the rear too, and the 3in z behind the cab
