Getting ready to do a ball joint flip this weekend & while I'm there gonna do front shocks also.....

The truck only has a 3 inch block in back & torsions turned down in front.....
Which shock should I get? Early 90's Isuzu pup? Or?

Thanx for any help!
Here's a pic-

I used the 74 dodge charger. 7.4" tall collapsed and ride really good but my trucks have all been slammed and need a super super short shock. You may get by with the hardbody or isuzu with the 17's

Which brand shock compresses that low? Gabriel is 7.75" and Napa brand are 8.12"

Thats what the gabriel book my buddy had said. My red truck layed out on the 15's with em and still had travel in the stock location. Plenty short enough for a static truck with djm arms.

I've got isuzu 4wd shocks and have been the best set I've had in the front of mine and I've tried 3 different kinds for different trucks. Not too soft for close to stock sized tire setups, whereas other sets bottomed tires into inner fenders. Or the collapsed length was too tall and I bottomed the shock out before suspension travel would have stopped it.

I'm tired of answering this question every couple of weeks... Do people not use the search box?

leland what year isuzu did you get yours off

Early 90s... Probably went with 91 since my truck is a 91... But they should be the same for several years in that time period.

Sorry for bothering you, I'm new to this stuff & just wanted to do it right the first time.... I wont post or ask questions anymore....see ya'!

Oh, I did use the search box & did'nt get an exact answer(Was hoping for a part #)

Only thing I can suggest is go for 91 isuzu pup, 4wd. I couldn't give you a part number unless I looked it up online. And I know there are several posts in regards to shock threads as I've replied to almost all of them. You've got a truck that most questions have been answered somewhere on the site, asking for advice is one thing, but with 5 mins of searching most info can be easily found. quite a few of us just get tired of the same question being asked over and over when its been answered before. We understand the need for asking about how to go about certain things, everyone will have their own opinions for what is a better way to do something, but repetativeness can get old...
