Anyone know if these shocks are any good or at least decent, its on a clearance price at the moment for 12 bucks. My stock front shocks are pretty much blown and probably have met its days but for 12 bucks for the gabriels it sure sounds good. If anyone info or input let me know, ohh and I have adjusted the front torsions giving the truck a lowered look. No measurements yet but probably about 1-2 inches from tire to fender. Still have to get 3" blocks for the rear..

stock length front shocks are not a good idea if you're planning to lower your truck. The shocks well be bottomed out and your ride quality will suffer. Look into shorter shocks, even on stock size tires, 2wd isuzu pup front shocks are shorter than the isuzu 4wd ones, but only by 1/2", yet that half inch is more than enough to provide one last bit of protection of smashing tire into wheel well. The 2wd ones on good bumps at decent speeds well cause rubbing of the tire into the inner fender and you dont wanna blow out your front tires at freeway speeds.

yes when I did drive the card it bounched like crazy. I was suspecting that the shocks was not strong enough or too long or blown since they looked old and probably original shocks. Ill look into shorter shocks, what shocks do you suggest to get me started on my search

Early 90s isuzu pup 4wd shocks are a direct bolt in. and are considerably shorter than the mazda shocks. Are the bump stops removed in the front...?

Make sure you go with 4wd ones, the pup 2wd will have you bouncing tire into inner fender...
