So I bought my shocks for the truck and figured while I'm down there ill adjust the torsion bar some. I'm a little scared because everyone I know has never tried it so ill be flying solo with the exception of having the write up to assist.

When I got the truck I was told that the passenger side sits a little higher than the driver side but it only has one shock up on the front to counter that as we speak. At least that is what he told me

I'm thinking (and this is just from doing searches) that they just adjusted the torsion bar without re-indexing it.
Will I have any problems following the write up if this is the case?
Any pointers also?

Also could I just flip the top ball joints and still get lower without messing the bottom?

it might bring u a little lower. as for the torsion bars. they are easy. if u just loosen it u risk ripping it out on a bump. reindexing is just taking the torsion bar out of the spline on lower control arm and turning it one or two teeth (clockwise for passenger side counter clockwise for drivers side.
that way u have the same amount of bolt thread holding and ur front is lower. hope this helps

So I ran into a snag with the shocks damn it. I have the single eye with the threads on top on my truck. I bought the dual eye, but I understand the torsion bar now... Hers the link to some pictures I took my iphone won't let me copy and paste so I made an album.

The pics I took of the front suspension are taking too long to upload right now so ill do it tonight when I'm around wifi. Ill also be around a parts store to swap the shocks. The cons of country living...

I'm having a problem getting the front bracket lined back up to the lower a-frame...anybody run into this?
Is it possible they were already reindexed?

Fixed the last post but ran into another snag...

When I finished reindexing and lowered the truck my passenger side sits quite a bit lower than the drivers side. Enough where it's tucked but the drivers side is perfect.

To fix this do I simply just reverse index the passenger side to level out?
