Figured I would pass on some information for us mini truckers going low. If your in the market for a shorter air shock or even regular shock for the rear of your bseries, look into 69-73 vw beetle rear shocks. After searching specs, I found what I was looking for and figured I would give it a shot. I just installed a pair of Gabriel #49307 air shocks in the rear of my 92 standard cab. Only modification I had to do was remove the new rubber bushings and swap them out with my original rubber bushings. This is not necessary if you have a way to remove the metal insert and re install over the original shock mounts. They work flawlessly and even though my axle is on the frame, I still have another 1.5" to go down, and a bunch to go up. The collapsed height of these is 10.75 in. (vs our 12.75") and the extended height is 16.35 in. Hope this might help some of you out, YES rear shocks off of a 69-73 volkswagen do fit our trucks!

Air shocks arent designed to be the ONLY suspension back there. I had a set of air shocks on the rear of my 2011 silverado, nothin but issues with them.

I have ran em for years man. Your truck weighs quite a bit more then these b2200. No issues at all, plus lifetime warranty!
