OK so my B2200 is lowered, the problem is the shocks sit about 2 inches off the ground. I was looking at airbags but those don't totally eliminate the rear shocks. So what can I do? I've seen pictures of big elaborate and expensive solutions, but I don't have the time or money for any of that. So what can I do?

Regardless of ride height you need shocks man... If you're having problems with suspension travel look into shorter shocks. Also do you have any pics if such truck? I'd like to see...

That's the problem with blocks. Unfortunately, you still need the bottom plate, even if you ditch the shocks.

Here's what you can do flip the entire leaf pack over and use like a 2 inch block and then notch your frame. You'll have the same height and your bottom plate will be much higher up.

Is this even possible to clear the frame? regardless you still need to fab new shock mounts, might as well just bag it or live with it...

think it was meant to flip leaf springs over using factory mounting points (never done it so not sure how well it works) doing that would drop it, then you should be able to bolt shock plate back up like it came off, but obviously it would be on what used to be the top of leaf pack
that would pick the bottom of shocks up higher, one thing to take into account, you MAY need shorter shocks at this point

OK so not to drastically change the topic but what brand of shocks would you recommend?

Or you could ditch the blocks pull the 2 middle leafs that will "weaken" the springs and the truck will drop down lower with out having the mount plate setting low then notch the frame for axle travel

what about flipping over the spring brackets to put it on top of the axle instead of below??
like so
