I have a 84 b2000 and im planning on lowering it this weekend. I have 3in blocks for the back, but im really not trying to buy drop spindles, lower control arms, or lowering coils/springs. My mazda also dosen't have torsion bars which really sucks. I was wondering how many coils I could cut to drop the front down so its flush with the fenders on 18's. I've done multiple lowering jobs on Chevy s10's and Blazers, and if I want a 2-3in drop I cut 1 1/2 coils from the top of the coil. I daily a 91 S10 Blazer with 2 coils cut in front and it rides perfectly(with a little modification with the control arms) so hopefully I can do the same with my B2K? Thanks

Did you ever do this? If so lets see some pics?

I have a 2in block with overload spring removed in the rear and cut coils up front.
