That bolt in the middle is not attached to your axle. That bolt in the middle is the pin that goes through the leaf springs for alignment

Loosin your ubolts an you will see....

I lossenes my bolts up and that thing was attached haha. It looks like someone tried to take that bolt out on the other side because its snapped. Can you buy replacement bolts for that?

It's just a regular bolt. it's just rusty needs some ass kicking to get it loose from the axle.

Some leafs use a pin and some use a bolt, Mazda uses a bolt.

Okay so I don't need that bolt with the blocks?

Not that bolt really but you need something there to keep everything aligned. I just dropped a bolt down from the top just so it will stay aligned

Okay sweet thanks for all of the info man. I wish somebody had pictures haha. I sprayed some pb blaster on all the bolts. going to let them sit over night! It should look pretty good. M going to be installing my e fan sometime this week

Yes, you do need it! It's the alignment pin.
It keeps the rear properly aligned on the springs. Put the blocks on the pin. Then put the axle on the blocks.

Also while you are doing it, make sure you keep the axle centered in the vehicle. The very first time I lowered a truck I forgot to do so and had the axle off to one side about a half inch. I had to jack the truck back up and redo it. and then I triple checked to make sure it was centered.

So i have the rear bolts removed on the torsion bars, indexed 3 notches on the drivers side, but unfortunately im having p.o problems on the passenger side with rounded off bolts. Channel locks didnt work at all, so im going to have to cut the with a dremel. Has anyone tried coil overs in place of the regular shocks, really short ones lol? If that is feasible ill just take the bars off entirely. Tomorrow im going to see if the 3" blocks i have for an old nissan hardbody i was going to get will fit on my B2K.
